For the Love of Landscape

Designed in 2021 this garden was tailored to meet the client’s request for a highly structured, low-maintenance coastal garden in Rangitahi Raglan. 

Native Ribbonwood trees give privacy and add vertical elements while still allowing light in to the house, while a simple stepped timber boardwalk with a change in direction in boards creates  impact at the entrance. 

Mass planting of different native groundcovers keeps maintenance down and helps create the contemporary bold look of the garden.
