Moonlight Bay, Raglan, Waikato

Moonlight Bay, Raglan, Waikato - Curving timber sleeper steps flanked by a newly established native underplanting garden bed on a sloping Raglan section.

Designed by For the Love of Landscape in 2024, this Raglan coastal garden featured native restoration planting and the construction of timber sleeper steps, timber boardwalks and bridges allowing access paths to meander through the lush native bush, and up to a coastal look out point / seating area  framed with a large format Corten steel planter featuring lush King Palms as accents.   Curated with a low-maintenance coastal plant palette, the planters anchor the hardscape design while establishing a seamless visual flow into the surrounding native bush backdrop.

In 2025 A concrete plunge pool and concrete cylindrical planters featuring native plants were added to the front of the property.
