For the Love of Landscape

Designed  by For the Love of Landscape in 2013, this garden demonstrates how  clean-lined geometry can give a resort like feel to spaces. The landscape master plan complements the home’s ultra-modern architecture designed by Warren & Mahoney, drawing inspiration from its striking matte-black cantilevered pavilions and floor-to-ceiling glass expanses. The property journey begins with a sweeping aggregate driveway guided by a custom-curved, plaster-rendered masonry retaining wall that establishes immediate street-level privacy. Site elevations are expertly negotiated through a series of stepped planters and narrow boundary thoroughfares that double as living galleries—showcasing a wire trellis featuring Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) 

The rear outdoor entertainment space has ultimate indoor-outdoor alfresco flow. Large-format paving wraps seamlessly around the lap pool and integrated spa zone, with specimen Olive tree under plant with mounded Selliera radicans .
